ESPN just released its "No longer way too early top 25" and we came in at #25
quote:

The Aggies have never quite found their footing under fourth-year coach Billy Kennedy, but things are looking up for Year 5. Not only will A&M have an enticing blend of experience (three senior returners, most notably Danuel House) and freshmen (the No. 6-ranked recruiting class in 2015), two of his top three newcomers, center Tyler Davis and small forward D.J. Hogg, were both high school and AAU teammates in Texas. Welcome Week should be a breeze.

we should be able to finish inside the top 3 in the SEC this year

and looks whos #1, has the basketball board melted over this yet?

I look forward to making the tournament, but we all know we are looking at a season like last year's LSU team

I'm thinking that Stansbury has some talent to work with.

If they finish at 25 with the players they will have on the team Kennedy should be fired. They should be better than 25th.

Mmmm yeah, this season is going to be good. I still say we have more reason to feel confident about this basketball season than the football season.

Prepare your witty "winning despite Kennedy" type comments, you're going to need them.

Hypothetically, what if we're a top 15 team but don't make the sweet 16? March Madness is aptly named.

With our roster + Stansbury as an assistant, even Kennedy isn't going to be able to miss the tournament this year. Not unless he Kennedys like he's never Kennedyd before.

He's absolutely clueless when it comes to offensive coaching (give me a month with the Wikipedia articles on basketball strategy and a few books off of Amazon and I could install a better offense) and he's not going to outsmart many coaches when it comes to in-game adjustments (he got WTF pwnzered by Scott fricking Drew for crying out loud). But he seems to be a competent good defensive coach and we're on a recruiting tear. Those two combined could win us a lot of games.

I'm not excited that we're still hanging onto him, but it at least doesn't sting as much.
