This is perfect. Tech will win but Texas will still get a moral victory with Warren

The line "Texas Tech thinks they have it" on the on sides kick was gold. There was no doubt that a Tech player had it

fricking LOVE that. Bill Byrne always got a bad rep at that other site, but he's always good in my book.

But fo' reel doe. If this Texas Defense is this terrible late into year 2, then they HAVE to cut ties with Strong. It's not a good trend at all to have at this point in time. If they fire him now, EVERY school will pull the race card on them on the recruiting trail. If they keep him, he will continue to Fran the frick out of that program. Either way,

Also, how many members does it take to admit another team? If it has to be unanimous then HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. If it has to be 2/3 then HAHAHAHAHAHA. If it has to be half then it may get dicey.

I'm still not sure what sort of deals may be in place between USC, UF, KY, and A&M, but I did get off my butt and find the rules on admitting new members.

quote:

*3.1.2 Granting of Membership. Membership may be granted by invitation of the Conference at a meeting of the Chief
Executive Officers. A vote of at least three-fourths of the members is required to extend an invitation for membership.
[Revised 5/30/91] [Clarified/Conformed 6/1/11]

3/4 of 14 is 10.5. So being pessimistic, let's say they round down and require only 10 yea's. (My guess is 11 required but what the hell.) Which means 4 no's to nix it. Definite no's on tu are A&M, Mizzou, Arkansas. (Pretty sure about those.) Just one more needed. Probably LSU if they have any sense, if only from a recruiting standpoint. And that will do it. If there really is any sort of gentleman's agreement between USC, UF, KY, A&M then tu being admitted is DOA regardless of LSU.

frick texas!

What would you give to have him back as A&M's OC? I can't afford to lose a nut, so I'd give your right one without hesitation.

Warren had a fantastic game and I'm sure the diehard tu fans will jump on that. But what they'll gloss over is he has 88 yards total before this game. He looked so good because he ran against the #122 of 127 rushing defenses in the country. And damn, were they bad.

Got to watch the last quarter of the game. Sips were oh so close. And then they lost.
