Perhaps your reading comprehension is not up to speed tonight?

Charlie Pallillo just reported this on 790. Said the jokes are writing themselves in Austin nowadays.
Everything I posted was what he said on the radio today. If longhorn fans (Or you) are upset about it, call him. Sports 790 in Houston. On from 2-6pm Mon-Fri.
For god's sake quit whine-assing about it. We have heard a LOT of Reveille jokes over the years. Bonfire jokes too.
Good lord.

And besides, a dog =/= a steer.

It doesn't offend me. People can make mascot jokes all day, even about UGA and I really don't care. I just thought you would be if people said that stuff about Reveille, because I've seen a fair amount of people get worked up about that before. My bad on the reading comprehension man. Not trying to get you all riled up, but I think I might be too late for that.

Alright. Just don't wanna come over to someone else's board and overstep my boundaries.

Reveille's expense if he was close to dying y'all would not be thrilled
Meh. It's a dog they die. But for the record dogs > cows.
I don't even care about bonfire jokes, and I don't have it in me to feign outrage over jokes about deaths, while tragic, of people I didn't know. That said, they're in poor taste but who am I to judge.

Funny you should say that because I do personally know a person that died in '99 and I was raised around Reveille 4. That was literally my dog growing up. I do take the comments personally even if it's stupid to do so.
On that note, I hope the damn nutless cow survives so it can stand there in a fricking coma on the sidelines and watch their program go down in flames.

Yeah, we have some family friends who's brother passed away in 99.
The jokes don't necessarily offend me if someone made them directly to me, but I understand how tragic of a situation it was and that its just incredibly disrespectful to mock in any way.

I'm not calling you, or anyone, stupid for being offended by bonfire/reveille jokes. I only speak for myself, and I'm dead inside.

No I understand where you're coming from. I was just giving you my view.

The only way they could make that article better is if they had named those coaches. Fun read anyway.

The cupboard wasn't completely bare. There were like 6 draft picks his first year on defense.
So he was left with freshman, sophomore, and juniors that were all ranked very highly as recruits. He should be able to develop plenty of those kids.

...or they're actual quotes by actual coaches who desperately want Charlie to keep his job.

Yup. There's just no justification for all the beat-downs he's suffered in just a year and a half.
