Sorry to make this all about me, but the first A&M football game that I remember going to at Kyle Field was Baylor in 1986, and Kevin Murray was a hero in that game.

This is my first memory of the son of someone that I remember (from college) in any sport also going to A&M. It's a memorable mark on my journey to old. I sure thought that it would happen in baseball first!

"Rocket" Rod, Jr, plays at A&M, and I missed it?!? Maybe I am smoking too much of the herb...

Is this a thing? Somebody should have told me that when I was in school.

Kyler is the most important recruit in 2015.

I honestly don't see that, especially with Daylon in this class. Tell me why you think he is the most important with Allen already on campus.

So Kyler is coming to scout the competition. I wonder if he'll like what he sees...

Apparently he's kicking some major arse playing baseball for Allen as well..... I really don't want to see another Kohl Stewart scenario come about hehe...

Another little note of interest....He's making an unofficial visit to Oregon in April...so I guess that's means he probably won't commit until summer at the earliest...I'm not really worried much about outside competition yet but it would be mass suicide over on TA if he ever spurns us lol

Because the QB is the most important position in football. I can see Kyler being Johnny 2.0 and winning a Heisman. However he won't have a historically bad defense. He'll win us a national championship. I like Allen. I like Hill too. I don't think either will be better than Kyler.

He isn't projected to get drafted anywhere near that high. Not even sure if he's supposed to get drafted

I think he said he's committing after the school year ends too, so I bet sometime in early to mid June. I agree Oregon is who worries me most with him though. I couldn't blame him for going there honestly, he would shred the record books in that offense

After watching initial video of Allen during practice the past couple of days ... damn. And having both Allen & Murray on the same roster? I'm glad I'm not the coach having to make that decision (re: depth chart/play time). That's assuming Kyler ends up in Aggieland, of course.

A good problem to have I guess.

If he does end up an Ag and Allen establishes himself as a starter I hope we have some sets to utilize Murray's abilities even if he is a backup. I'm afraid if Allen starts this year and tears it up it could push Murray elsewhere.

If Allen lives up to the hype he won't be on campus past his junior year though
