Saw this on TA. I like the steeper deck. I think this is where Old Sarge's seats are.

Which thread is that in?
Is that depicting the old west side vs the new west side?
Like many others, on the season ticket holder surveys two years ago, I told them the rebuild design had to go up and stay closer to the field and not be like othe huge bowl stadiums that go outward and away from the field to gain rows.
Always part of the special feel of being closer to the game and you have a much better view of the action. Some of my seats in old Kyle were on the second to highest row on the west at about the 15 yard line. And the game view/experience was still incredible. I can't wait to see the new view from my west and south seats.
What sucks is my wife committed us to go to a wedding next Saturday

Thanks to everyone for keeping us up to date on the renovations. I've enjoyed reading the posts and looking at the pictures. Now let's go kick some butt in the new Kyle Field! Gig'em Ags!

Well Kyle is 98% complete, my friend who installed all the audio was out there for 6 hrs today troubleshooting for ESPNU and working the bugs out of the system. He said the place needs about 3 or 4 more weeks to be totally complete, so if you're there don't look behind any curtains or other obvious cover ups.

The wedding is at 4 so I should make it home in time to catch at least the last three quarters on the TV

Well getting in through entry 3 is a cluster and if it's like this around the rest of the stadium for the next few weeks I'd suggest getting to the game a bit early. Also, security is lax as hell. My mother and I have basically popped into every level 4 suite so far. Food plates in the Legacy Club are "only" $18. 
honestly, I know I've been poo pooing things for a while but $3m for most of these is really kinda of.... well.... Only room for 5 seats max at a window or else your arse is outside. At least most of the West side is in the shade though.
Also, the bars in here seem to not be charging the same amount for beers depending on where you go. Center bar was $6 for a miller light while the tiny one to the side was $8. Unless the middle bar screwed up peeps gonna get pissed.
