My little Aggie loves to start out game day with pizza at Antonio's, maybe we all meet up there?

I'm open to wherever, I'm easy.

Aggiebelle isn't much for the bar scene. Truthfully I can take it or leave it.

Kyle Field when I went to my first game in 1995:

What were those buildings northwest of Kyle?

That was DeWare Fieldhouse and the Cain pool. They demolished all that in '97 or '98 as they made room for the Zone.

It came down between 95 and 96. There was a plaza type area in front of kyle my fish year in 96.

Ah yes, Cain pool. In the spring of '76 I took conditioning swimming there for PE. Had the idea that it would help me get in better shape for Bloody Run. Stupid. Only person in the class who wasn't a high school swimmer. Closest I ever came to dying. I've hated swimming ever since.

You were much smarter than I. Good choice.
Not exaggerating: the coach would post the day's workout. It included things like: "Swim 1000 yards warmup." I really did almost die.

Swimming is insane.
I was a pretty successful cross country & track distance runner - made the state meet and all that jazz even though at 6'1" 190 as a high school senior I was a little too big-boned for the sport - and thought that my conditioning would carry over to swimming. WRONG. Totally wrong.

I'm going to be kinda sad to see the construction finish. It has helped the last two offseasons go by more quickly.

Agreed, it really has given us a little something extra to follow and be excited about.

Lol. I played club water polo at A&M. "We" swam 2000 yards to start every practice.
I was the only guy that did not swim competitively in high school, so I was in a lane by myself on the end in the dive well. I just did my best and took a lot of breaks.
