The elephant in the room question for Aggies today is "how many wins does Sumlin need this year for you to be able to stomach a 7 or 8 win season next year" but I already answered that question for myself months ago.

Ten wins.

I think if we win 10 but close weak in recruiting were going to be in a world of trouble.

The 14 class will be gone and we'll regress like Ole miss has.

I wish sometimes instead of hiring good coaches or good recruiters we could be like Nick Saban and hire both as consultants.

At least an obvious replacement for Sumlin became clear yesterday if next year is a disaster.

the defense that has a hurt Myles Garrett and still held Bama to one touchdown through almost 3 quarters?

That defense? Yeah, holding Bama to 1 TD in 2/3 of a game on the road really sucks.

We held a very good Ole Miss offense to season lows in basically every category

very good Ole Miss? 3-4 ole miss? 1-3 conference and 6th in the west ole miss?

you didn't play last years ole miss team, you played this years ole miss team.

They looked terrible, made tons of mental errors and mistakes.

Ole Miss is garbage. I have no idea how they get the benefit of doubt. Chad Kelly has regressed, and they only have 2 receivers on offense + zero running game. Their defense is awful as well. They looked like the 5-7/6-6 team they are last night.

ole miss will finish 6-6 or 5-7, I'm laughing my arse off that LSU fans 2 signature wins are with the 2 mississippi schools and they have a combined record of 5-9

That's their 2 biggest victories

Sarge take off your damn homer glasses, I'm not saying LSU is a world beater. I'm saying that they have improved basically every week since they fired Les Miles. You'd have to be stupid to not realize that. They have a defense that is just as good as Alabama or I better (oh the horror I know!!)

Texas A&M played a hard fought game yesterday, if we are as shitty as you proclaim then y'all will handily beat us.

Also to say that Ole Miss doesn't have the best receiving core in the country is pure ignorance of talent

I give up, I can't have a serious conversation with you about football.

They have one of the best in country, pure ignorance would tell you otherwise.

Sarge, Myles Garrett doesn't make our defense and he has very capable backups. Our defense as a whole isn't looking good right now, and whether or not MG is 100% makes no difference because he cannot be in 11 places on the field at once.

"Held Bama to 1 TD" - what a fine accomplishment, until they put 20 unanswered points on us.

one was a defensive score, you know that had nothing to do with our defense.

Eh, I'm not ready to proclaim that yet, though We'll win, but we won't pull away until late, IMO.

Sarge the only thing I'm going to say in response to you're 2/3 comment is that, the game is 3/3...cherry picking isn't gonna help you. I've still yet to see where the ags d is going to be able to stop the run vs LSU. I agree with some of your own...bad matchup. I think y'all match up much better with ole miss.

11-2 is still one hell of a season fellas. And with the way auburn is playing, y'all may have the most impressive victory in the sec so far

I think we can give up 200 or so rushing yards and still win

Also Etling is not a runner and has 47 total rushing yards. Far cry from facing someone like Dobbs or Hurts

You are right. But hurts or dobbs are no fournette or Guice. I don't see how y'all score much on us tbh. Need some turnovers (which is possible)

neither do i really. well do what we did last year and make you pass the ball and i just dont see etling beating us. and i personally think alabamas run game with hurts is probably the most dynamic in the country
