Dude came into the SEC as a true freshman and won his first two conference games. That streak ends on Saturday, but he has definitely impressed me. That loss to UCLA may have done him some developmental good...expectations were not high for him.

Lest anyone forget, he nearly made lemonade out of the lemon playcalling down the stretch vs. UCLA. The possession on which we missed the field goal almost ended in a TD. Barely stepped out of bounds.

Kid doesn't shrink from the spotlight. Excellent trait to have.

He is easily my favorite Aggie QB to watch since JFF.

He will be with us for a while so its good to see him improve week to week.

I wouldn’t be too hard on yourself, Mond has shown flashes in games at times and I really do hope that with proper development and coaching (ie. not this current staff, but a future one) that he can be a far more consistent QB and a better overall passer. It takes time and he’s just a true fish.

I don't know why, but I 'd at this.

In 2017, this is a good thing for Aggy football.

I don't wish bad on the kid, but in my book the less "experience" Mond gets in an Aggie jersey the next couple years the better off we are. Starkle is better now and has a higher ceiling imo.

Arm talent is there. He's elusive and fast enough to rack up some running yards. He has to get better at finding the open receivers. So many times I saw guys wide open and he rarely found them. Accuracy is an issue as well. He'll improve, but I'm not sure he'll ever be a dead-eye passer.

I think Starkel is a wonderful fit for Jimbo's offense, just saying
