Aggie related cause I'm a damn aggie.

In my front yard along the walkway. Thank Jesus I had my phone light, otherwise I might have rolled up on him directly.

If you live in town, keep a hoe handy and chop 'em up. If you live in the country, shoot 'em.

Where do you live? I've heard stories about how they come out onto people's lawns in the fall at night to eat crickets.

Where there's one Copperhead, there's another. Always two.

Copperheads are not a big deal. Clean bite with soap and water...maybe get a tetanus shot the next day.

Well I'm quasi in the country. But live in a neighborhood and I don't think my neighbors would have appreciated a shotgun blast at midnight. Lol

I'm gonna keep a golf club handy from now on going to and from my car.

Reminds me of that Ray Wylie Hubbard song, "Snake farm!"

Snake Farm! Just sounds nasty. Snake Farm! Pretty much is...

Masterag,

The chances of a copperhead biting you are extremely small. Even if you did get bitten, you more than likely won't die from it. Just clean the wound and calmly drive yourself to the hospital. No big deal.

The real question is: Where are the other copperheads? Copperheads usually remain close to their snake den. Sometimes snakes are forced to find a new snake den when their previous den has been destroyed (construction, flooding, etc). Hope and pray the copperheads haven't identified your property as their new snake den because if they have there is nothing you can do (short of burning down your house and moving away) to urge them to move elsewhere. Once copperheads identify their den it's game over.

I'm not trying to go on a snake scouting expedition.
