Vandy's gym would throw me way the hell off as a player. Kind of like playing in a normal gym and then all of a sudden balling outdoors.

NBA teams used to have a little trouble adjusting to the deep backdrop when they played the Spurs in the Alamodome back in the day, too.

Vandy is 10-2 at home and 1-6 on the road

But then again so are Arky and Tennessee

Crazy that we've split with those two on the road, so far, given that stat.

Although we looked like dogshit up until the very end of that UT game.

I am starting to believe that Billy Kennedy is Mike Sherman's illegitimate kid. This shite is awful. No excuse why we shouldn't be undefeated in conference, or all year for that matter. If he fricks away a team this great without at least making an elite 8 he should be fired on the spot. Woodward needs to clean the goddamn house, send Sumlin and Kennedy packing. This is a disgrace.

Kennedy's not a good coach. Never has been. He's going to make the tournament this year because Stansbury helped him lock up House and a historic recruiting class (for A&M anyway), but we're going to lose 4 seniors after this season so it'll be back to the NIT bubble next year.

I hate to be a basketball snob. I hate those ppl.

But I know you know how difficult it is to go from watching Spurs basketball to watching what passes for coaching with Kennedy.

It....it eats away at the soul, bruh. It really does.

Yea. Every team is going to have bombs over an 82 game season, but the vast majority of the time, Pop shows up with a great game plan and makes good adjustments. Not to mention that his players have good fundamentals.

That is not a given with Kennedy, though this year has admittedly been much better. However, even that has to be qualified because he's got 3 seniors, a grad transfer, and a fish that is unusually polished. That is not normal for college basketball (and neither is our top 5 recruiting class). It's more of a stars align situation, which is why is so frustrating that we're wasting it. Experienced + talented roster, the SEC is down, and our schedule couldn't be better. And 10 games in, we're now behind the eight ball for 1) winning the conference and 2) earning the seed that will set us up for a second weekend run.

If Stansbury bails this off-season, the pots are coming back out and I'm doing my best John Bonham impression ie banging on them magnificently until I choke on my vomit and die from watching us play.

Dude My grandma could coach this team to the sweet 16. Traditional powers down, conference down, KY and Arky down. Jesus this should be shooting fish in a barrel. Kennedy sucks, if you can't see that then you can't question whether I do or don't follow. This shite is embarrassing.

This team was built to win THIRTY games.

The way things look now, we may not reach 20.
