I have to remember that Kyle is a sophomore. We just played an extremely talented team and made a lot of mistakes. We had our chances and did not come through. But there is a lot of promise in this team.

He's a sophomore in college throwing INTs that juniors in high school should be able to avoid.

Those werent great defense, they were terrible throws. Horrendous. Impossibly awful. Two were legitimately some of the worst throws Ive ever seen at the college level. I literally couldnt believe my eyes.

Kyle Allen was, and I cant stress this enough, INEPT today. The last INT was maybe the worst throw Ive seen a QB make all season.

I never dreamed he was capable of that type of game.

the last INT was straight up on RSJ for breaking off his route right as Allen was throwing the ball.

maybe you should take a breath and rewatch the game once the booze wears off ehh?

And that's not including a couple of throws that should have been intercepted as well. His first throw of the game was one of them

Correct

He could have easily, EASILY, had five or six picks.

It was abysmal

the first throw was bad sure, but it wasnt picked.

i dont see where there was another one that could have been a pick 6.

you are too damn negative and I really hope we dont have many (if any) players on the squad that have the same attitude.

you'd be fricking poison in a locker room

Murray doesn't look ready as a passer yet to me. His passes kind of float, as if there is helium in the ball.

But after 3 Pick 6s, how can you really trust Allen to maintain ball security?

We really need to develop more in the running game.

Everybody has bad games, Peyton manning has had bad games. This was a bad game by Kyle Allen. Kyler Murray would Not have given us a better chance to win. Hopefully he puts it behind him and starts preparing to beat Ole Miss, he is a better quarterback than he showed tonight.

If you're Sumlin, how do you explain starting Allen next week?

"Hey guys, sorry that everyone else managed to outscore Bama last week and still lose. BTW Im gonna starting the guy who spotted them 21 points, go have fun."

If Im a defensive player Im furious. Absolutely furious.

You start Allen b/c he's clearly the best QB on the team.

Again that 3rd Allen pick WAS NOT HIT FAULT. I don't know why you refuse to accept that.

Once again, I sure as shite hope we don't have players on the team that think like you b/c you'd be the kind of guy that wrecks the locker room.

KM's got plenty of arm. The "helium" ball is a particular type of pass he's tried to throw, into the wrong coverages.

Id like to see Kyker for more than one possession and see him get into a rhythm. All he does is make mistakes in his passing game right now, but I think it's in part due to the pressure he is putting on himself to do well in a short timeframe to impress the coaches. He needs to get into a rhythm. At Allen, he made his fair share of mistakes. But he would bounce back just like JFF.

That being said, if we actually did that - I think it would be very clear Allen is the most consistent quarterback we have.

On our 1st possession of the game, Allen tried to throw his 1st INT, you might recall. He was bailed out when it was tipped to Kirk, though. That bothered me from the get-go.

He does make some good throws, of course. That's why they are starting him. But after that, I don't see how you can have alot of confidence in him.

3 Pick 6s. Unbelievable. That's like something Matt Schaub would do.

If we have to start a QB who throws too many picks, start the one who can make plays with his legs.

I wasnt on the Murray train until today. Allen was just too awful.

We have to have a qb who can throw the ball around. We can't change our offensive identity that drastically. I'm for giving Murray a chance to get in an actual rhythm, but I think he will probably disappoint. He's just not quite ready.

We have no offensive identity. We haven't run the air raid since the MSU game in 2013 and our current offense is a mishmash of read option, roll outs and play action fakes despite not running the ball enough to fool anyone. Some weeks we fall in love with receiver screens, others we run out three boot plays over and over.

It's a mess

Our offense by it's very nature isn't supposed to have a consistency in the play calling. It is meant to take adapvantage of a defense on a case by case basis.

I'm ready for spav to go, but I'm not basing it on his play calling which is what it appears all of you are bitching about. If that's your complaint, the. You're going to be disappointed because the next guy sumlin hires is going to do the exact same thing.
