Yeah, id be upset too.
But this move makes zero sense to me unless Baylor is just willing to money whip him. He's built a nice program at osu, his school, what possible reason would there be to go to Baylor other than money, and I'd think osu would just match the offer.

I can't fathom why he would do that, unless his relationship with Pickens has become completely toxic.

He's not an upgrade. He's 10-2 vs OU all time. He's a white Kevin Sumlin; all offense and neglects the defense.

Pickens is a jerry Jones glory hog. Also, supposedly they didn't speak for some insane amount of time after the last contract negotiation.

Gundy has averaged 9 wins a year and 9.9 if you drop off his year 1 shitty season cleaning up les miles mess.
If you want to see wins added as a coach, he's the poster child. he's been winning for a decade with players no one else who recruits Texas wanted. His teams exceed their talent level every single year.
He runs laps around sumlin.

"Gundy and Oklahoma State agreed to a two-year extension this offseason, which would take him through the 2021 season. It was approved by the OSU Board of Regents in June.
But that contract has not been signed."

If Gundys agent is floating his name that would be crazy, considering he has an unsigned contract on his desk. Pickens may make him go missing lol.

think you're doing the math wrong. He's in his 12th season. He has 103 wins so far. That's only 8.5/year I think.
Also, over the last 5 years (the years we've had Sumlin), he's 44-20 in a seriously weakened B12 and they play no one OOC. Sumlin's record in that same time span is also 44-20. He's got the 3rd best setup in the B12 to recruit to so any lack of talent vis a vis his opposition is on him.
Gundy imo is at a good spot for him. He's a good coach that is not fit for a bigger program. He lacks the temperament and doesn't recruit well enough to survive in the SEC. He's Dan Mullen. He can work miracles every few years but mostly he just keeps you competitive.

Dan Mullen would be a huge upgrade here as well.
