Btw, interesting thing to add to KSCC's observation, our first OOC game in 2020 is on 9/12. The first weekend that year is 9/5. So it seems we will open with a conference game. Maybe that's Arkansas?
I'd put money on it being South Carolina on a Thursday night. They seem to almost always open on Thursday the last 10 years or so.

we lived way down wellborn and graham so we would park our cars at my roommates girlfriends appartment at meadows point and that night we were turning onto holleman and a fricking car was straight up flipped over in the middle of the road. we stopped and checked to make sure everyone was ok, and they were, but ill never forget the car literally just turned upside down on the fricking street

Cowboys Classic is booked through '19:
'17 UM v UF
'18 LSU v Miami
'19 Aubie v Oregon
I found this that leads me to believe Bama will be there in '20: LINK
I know I'm making a big deal out of nothing, but I'm curious if this means Arky is coming back to campus. having made the trip to fayetteville in '13, I hope so. Fun place, and a reasonable SEC road trip for us DFWers.

certainly the most likely but as KSCC rightly points out, we scheduled another game on the same day the Jerryworld game was supposed to be.

I am so glad I didn't buy plane tickets to go out to this w/them changing the date like this. Would be pretty pissed if I was now having to completely change my travel plans at cost since airlines be like "frick you and your ticket date change!"

The 2008 game almost added to the "Sherman blown 2+ score halftime leads" category.
The score was 28-6 at the half and New Mexico nearly won. The final was 28-22.

The Appalachian State Mountaineers will play at the Texas A&M Aggies in 2022, the school announced on Friday.
Appalachian State will travel to take on Texas A&M at Kyle Field in College Station on Sept. 10, 2022. The game will be the first-ever meeting between the two schools.
“We’re excited to add another nationally recognized program like Texas A&M to our future football schedule,” Appalachian State director of athletics Doug Gillin said. “The trip to Texas should be a great experience for our team and fan base.”

Not sure why the future OOC pic isn't showing up in the OP right now. I've tried tinypic and imgur to load it and it's not showing up on Firefox, Chrome, or Safari for me. :-/

Something to note, w/the App St game set up for Sept 17 and our Miami home game set up for Sept 10 it looks like we are either going to end up on the road vs an SEC school or at a neutral site location vs another P5 school (doubtful) to kick off the season as I think it's unlikely we will want to open with 3 straight home games.
We have Florida at home in 2022 so I'm guessing it will be @South Carolina to kick off the year.

The Texas A&M Aggies have added the Kent State Golden Flashes and the New Mexico Lobos to their future football schedules, FBSchedules.com has learned.
Copies of both game contracts were obtained from Texas A&M University via a state public information request.
Texas A&M will host Kent State at Kyle Field in College Station on Sept. 4, 2021. The Aggies will pay the Golden Flashes a $1.9 million guarantee for the game, according to the contract.
The 2021 game between Texas A&M and Kent State will be their first-ever meeting on the gridiron.
On Sept. 2, 2023, the New Mexico Lobos will travel to face the Texas A&M Aggies at Kyle Field. Per the contract, UNM will receive a $1.6 million guarantee for playing the game.
The Aggies and Lobos also have an existing agreement to meet on Sept. 18, 2021, also at Kyle Field in College Station.
Texas A&M and New Mexico first met in 1926 and have played four games overall. The Aggies won the most recent meeting 55-14 in 2017 to take a 4-0 lead in the series.

I wish we would schedule the New Mexico Aggies instead of what is basically the New Mexico Longhorns.
