The sad part is we would be number two if we hadn't messed up against both or even #4 if we had just beaten Ole Miss.

We should have beaten Miss St. No doubt about it. Team came out flat as can be. We should have beaten Ole Miss without Kelly at Kyle Field. That stretch of 3 and outs we had in the 3rd and 4th were killers for our D vs Ole Miss. They were already having a bad game and our offense made it even worse for them. Had our chances.
With Knight... shortcomings and all... we beat both of them.

People always fall for this crap. The system is developed to select the top 4 teams and nothing else really matters. If A&M were to win against LSU these rankings would be fricked.
