Don't know if anyone is flying into ATL and driving, but if you are, it is Talladega Race Weekend and I 20 will be a mess all weekend. The only way I know is to get off at Heflin Alabama and go backroads. May be worth looking into. My husband had to go 1-20 yesterday and back today and said it was a mess.
Also don't know if anyone has told you about the new bag policy. Pretty much you can't carry any bag in unless it is clear. You can go to roll tide.com for complete policy. Warning....they are bag Nazis and even go after little old ladies
Also sorority houses have stepped up security. Basically, you aren't getting in. If you are an active or alum of the sorority, they may let you pay for a wristband to get in for a meal. They have all had security problems with masses of people wandering in and have pretty much stopped random entry. So if you are a member or alum, don't get upset if you have trouble getting in your house.

Appreciate the info! The group I was supposed to go with is currently inebriated on Bourbon Street and will be rolling in later tonight so have fun with that

Haha was about that say my friend sent me a video of the fricking mansion they were in and the Bama girls left them snacks and a "Get Lit in Tuscaloosa" instructional sheet.
