Well done. The SEC rant was 10 pages deep of threads when we lost to TCU. Would have thought LSU won the CWS with all that enthusiasm. Little brother dishes it but they can't take it. It's almost shocking how much we haven't piled on. Piling on is more of an LSU fan thing.

Hey don't lump me into the y'all! I love my Tigers, but I do not, I repeat, DO NOT agree with or share the opinions of 99.99999999% of the posters on tRant.
Hell, I have countless times had to shut up some a-whole in the middle of a game we are winning by 20+, in a season where we are undefeated, talking shite about our team...2011, I'm so serious.
LSU fans were so much more real in the 90s when making a bowl game was a big deal. I know MANY people who think that 10 wins in a season is considered a bad season. But we got successful and ticket prices went up and the newer generation that didn't stick with the team when A&M was beating us by 38 (
) comes and shits all over everything.
I hate the bandwagoners and sidewalkers. Sure Death Valley can roar like it used to, but we, as a fanbase, aren't hungry anymore or even excited. We are entitled. I hate it.
I mean, honestly there is a thread on tRant right now about how we haven't won a CWS game in 6 years. WTF lol...we've been there twice in the last 6 years and anyone that knows baseball knows the best team doesn't always win moreso than any other sport. And the better team lost yesterday. But nutt up, eat your crow in stride, and lets get out there and try and get back in this.

I mean really; name one other fanbase that wouldn't at least be happy with the fact that their team has made it to Omaha, twice in the last 6 years (and 7 years ago won the whole damn thing) and been in the NCAAs 6 of the last 7 years.

I mean; as a fan, I have gotten to see twice the number of football titles than we had before i was born just in the last 10 years.
In the last 25, we went from 0 historical presence in baseball to being THE program everyone aspires to with 6 titles.
I've even gotten to see 2 final fours in basketball.
But so is the way the world works. Just like money, the more success you have, the more you need. Their is never joy. We are all Nick Saban, never appreciating what we have till we are back in the 90s again losing to a&m by 5 tds

I am definitely one of those guys that get more angry at my own fanbase, but love the ribbing from opponents. Biggest disappointment was going down to the swamp and no one talking any crap in 2008

The A&M threads at the beginning of the season were the genesis of that.
Like Jerry Lawler says, "Keep your words soft and sweet because you might have to eat 'em." All that being said, LSU played like garbage. If they play like that again on Tuesday, they will most assuredly be back home.

Odd. I was there as an LSU fan, and they talked so much shite. I remember that game like a nightmare. Their season had just been ruined by Ole Miss the previous week (although they wouldn't lose another game), so they were a bit quiet early in the day. But I have never been told frick You as many times as I was that day. I also got flashed by some 50 year old ugly seconds after entering Gainesville.
