OK, so I know most people on here hate TAgs so I'm risking being banned for all eternity for admitting this. I just finished watching the latest interview with Jason Cook on that most hated of all Aggie sites. In the middle of the desk was a spinning A&M football helmet. I'm sure it uses magnets and all that. Does anyone know where to get one? I plead with the gods of the Board to overlook this infraction. Remember I'm still a newb!

I don't hate TexAgs. I think:
1) the football board is awful. We're a week from kickoff and it's amazing how little actual football chat that thing has. This board has a small fraction of the users, but it still generates a far larger amount of interesting football discussion. Instead, the football board is full of inside jokes and dumb shite that wasn't particularly funny when it happened the first time (Vader threads thumbs down; VORE!!!; Trainer for ______; and countless other dumb things that make you embarrassed to share an alma mater with the posters)
2) Premium isn't worth it to me. $11/month is too much for me just on principle. Liucci is unbelievably thin-skinned (especially for a guy running a freaking internet business). And the legions of sycophants that both slob his knob every time he provides the info they pay too much for or make the annoying "OMG LOOCH WITH THE SMACKDOWN!!" "BAN HAMMER!!" etc. posts whenever he bans someone annoy the crap out of me.
So yea. It's fine and I spend a decent chunk of time reading it. My job is intellectually intense and has me working on a computer all day, so it's a nice break every so often during the day. But this board is better for getting raw A&M intel in a hurry. Almost no bullshite to wade through whereas TexAgs is overrun with eye AIDS.

Texags is bad. Last year Brandon the owner kept sending my gf linked in requests even though both of us have never met him, only Liucci

99% of linkedin requests come from linkedin based on common interests, not from the user.

I neither hate nor love it. If it was my site, I would change it, but it is not my site so you get along and go along. I prefer tRant as it is much looser and operates under a different business model even if the trolls at times run too loose.
If TA + SECN = leven fiddy a month
If SECR + SECN = buck fiddy a month
Then, I chose SECR + SECN and spend the 10 bucks a month on Thunderbird and government cheese to consume while surfing tRant and watching sports.

When I first saw Tbird on here I was like, Cool, another Thunderbird fan.
