Don't y'all see how LSU is a much more appropriate potential rival?

t.u. is full of shitty, arrogant POS metrosexual fricktards. LSU is a better rival with a better football program. And, they are more fun to troll.

I don't think I'll ever view LSU as a rival like I view USC as an UCLA fan

No. Doubt I'll ever consider them an actual rival

That was all pretty much the point, wasn't it?

LSU would be a good rival in a much different way... if A&M ever wins one of the damn games!

Being in (roughly) the same city makes it a bit easier, with the history and all. I actually have quite a bit of family tied to USC so I know all about that particular rivalry.

The LSU-aTm "rivalry" could certainly become something bigger going forward but it would take a few more situations like the Chavis deal to really throw sour grapes on it to ferment and grow into a serious shitshow.

tGulfWar is a powder keg, only waiting to be lit by an A&M run of dominance and high-stakes games. It will grow in intensity and be a helluva lot of fun as the years go by.

It doesn't need to be compared to our series with the sips. Let it be its own thing.

The younger generation of Ags will end up cherishing this game like we did the t.u. game.

And that is a very good thing.

The feeling is mutual. I can see the potential though.

For the older posters it used to be a pretty good rivalry back when it was played at the beginning of each season. It will get back there as soon as it gets competitive.
