Depth Chart going into Spring Camp

Spring camp starts on Monday, and here's my best guess where things stand as far as 1st and 2nd team goes.
A couple thoughts first....
1) Returning starters are in bold. All linebackers are included as returning starters even though Richard Moore only started a few games to end the season. I also tabbed Otaro Alaka as a returning starter since he was in 2014 and was widely regarded as our best LB before getting injured.
2) I don't have the slightest clue how the OL will shake out. I imagine a couple of true freshman will make their way into the 2-deep before it's all over.
3) Maybe I'm alone in this, but Justin Dunning needs to see the field. Not sure if he needs a look at OLB to provide depth for that injury-prone group or if he just needs to bide his time until Justin Evans graduates in 2016.
QB – Jr. Jake Hubenak / Sr. Trevor Knight
RB – Jr. Keith Ford / Jr. James White
WR – Sr. Josh Reynolds / Sr. Ed Pope
WR – Jr. Speedy Noil / Jr. Damion Ratley
WR – Jr. Ricky Seals-Jones / RS Fr. Kemah Siverand
WR – So. Christian Kirk / Sr. Boone Niederhofer
TE/HB – Fr. Aaron Hansford
LT – Sr. Avery Gennesy / RS Fr. Trevor Elbert
LG – So. Keaton Sutherland / Sr. Jermaine Eluemunor
C – RS Fr. Erik McCoy / Jr. JJ Gustafson
RG – So. Connor Lanfear / Fr. Colton Prater
RT – So. Koda Martin / Sr. Ryan Lindblade
DE – Jr. Myles Garrett / Jr. Jarrett Johnson
DT – Jr. Zaycoven Henderson / Jr. Kingsley Keke
DT – So. Daylon Mack / Sr. Hardreck Walker
DE – Sr. Daeshon Hall / Jr. Qualen Cunningham
WLB – Sr. Shaan Washington / So. Dwaine Thomas
MLB – So. Otaro Alaka / Jr. Josh Walker
SLB – So. Richard Moore / Sr. Claude George
LC – Jr. Priest Willis / RS Fr. Roney Elam
SS – Jr. Armani Watts / Rs. Fr. Larry Pryor

K – So. Daniel LaCamera / Fr. Braden Mann
Please feel free to discuss and let me know if someone else is more deserving to be in the 1st-team, 2nd-team, ect.

OL is still a glaring weakness. Thanks for putting it all together though.

Secondary looks pretty good. I hope Willis shows up

Hilliard is done with football

A few flaws.
QB: no clear cut starter
HB: look for Bussey to be the backup.
OL: Davis is a tackle, Prater is an early enrollee and the likely backup to Lanfear
LB: Washington, Moore, and Alaka are your starters. Hilliard is done. Backups are Thomas, Garner, and Walker. Walker is a junior, not a senior.
DB: Evans is Free, Watts is Strong.
P/K: Mann is an EE and will take one of the spots.

Probably best for both parties.

Must have missed that. Injury?

QB: True. Someone had to be placed in each spot though. More of a placeholder than anything else.
HB: Very possible. I can't imagine White falling out of the rotation though.
OL: Thanks, removing Davis and added Prater in his place.
DB: Updating also.
P/K: Ya, he might beat out LaCamera. My money is on Shane winning the punter job though.

And for the linebackers, who do you have at strong-side, weak-side, and middle?
Posted on 2/23/16 at 3:49 pm to Iosh
Because he was terrible. I would rather a freshman consistently plug the wrong holes.

Will: Washington
Mike: Alaka
Sam: Moore
The only reason I'd put Alaka over Moore at Mike is because of playcalling, and because he was the starting mike before he got hurt.
Another depth hit rumor is that Deshawn Washington (3-tech) might be done due to injuries.
Hilliard never fully recovered from the ankle surgery and it showed in his speed after the middle of the season.

Retiring due to shoulder injury it sounds like.
Posted on 2/23/16 at 7:05 pm to Roger Klarvin
What is it with shoulder injuries? That's at least 20 injuries resulting in time lost and retirements since Sumlin/Jackson took over.

We play too many freshmen out of necessity, and shoulder injuries are a big risk in football players with underdeveloped bodies.

for someone that holds himself up as super smart, you sure do parrot the most mindless drivel
Separated shoulders of various degrees are fairly common in football. They have virtually nothing to do with body development. Until recently, they were treated one way - rest. Our current med staff prefers minor arthroscopic surgery to facilitate healing.
It's not a big deal but it's the internet so zomgomgomg shoulder injury

Players often retire due to injury and get a medical. If you don't have an injury, you have to pay for school

So basically Nick Saban's playbook.
