this thing just has everyone in the area baffled. This was a great family. The kid got expelled at Kinkaid after last year due to grades but he was headed to Lamar and as far as everyone knew he was really looking forward to play for them - he played in 7 on 7 all summer and I have numerous friends who saw he and his Dad at the games. everything looked fine.
I heard a rumor he was grounded and had his car taken away - that might be what started this. 16 year old boys - even the best ones are a stick of dynamite with the 1 inch fuse.
I can only imagine that kid is sitting in a jail cell right now crying his eyes about and wondering what the heck happened.

Local news is still reporting that Antonio is in critical condition in the hospital.

Link? All the news sources I see say he's in critical condition. I know RC posted something but he may also be relying on hearsay.

this KBTX article is a bit confusing. Headline says he died, article is vague. Hope it was premature.

I tend to think someone capable of murdering their parents over such trivial matters probably isn't going to be genuinely remorseful. That's an action that screams sociopath.

I can't imagine what kind of insanity must've been going through his head to make him do this. I hope for the sake of all involved he had awful mental health issues that nobody knew about. Because if this was a case of him being an upset spoiled brat, I hope he gets raped in prison every day while regretting the fact that he took his mom and dad away from his siblings, grandparents, other family and friends.

Yeah, for his sake and his sibs, I hope someone else did it. I hesitate to make any assumptions because we obviously don't have all the info.

Heard that the son who killed the parents had wanted to go live with the 20-yo brother, but parents squashed that idea. Sounds like the parents were cracking down on this wayward kid and he didn't care for it. Sad.
