Yup.
I am pleased we were picked 6th in the west. It just means less hype after we roll through ASU, Ball St, Neveda, & Ark. 4-0 heading into MSU might generate a little hype though. By the time we get to Bama week it'll be full blown playoff talk.

I too feel like it's highly unlikely we will be undefeated, and I'm not comfortable looking past game 1.

Now you're just being silly.
There is no reason we couldn't beat Arky and they are the toughest game.
MSU has Dak and a ton of question marks
ASU I don't know much about but most are saying we should be favored.

Arizona state has a ton of talent but also some very serious holes.
They replace both tackles which is the worst position they could have uncertainty against our D.

I have been watching A&M football since I was 3, don't tell me there is no reason we couldn't. I've said it for 20 years and every year there is another reason.
Not gonna go into this season with high expectations. Would love to be pleasantly surprised by the outcome.
