Can we talk about Speedy, or lack thereof?

Where is Speedy?!? It is astonishing that he has been invisible this season. Is he hurt?

I used to love watching his high school film, he looked a lot like Percy Harvin IMO.

Sumlin doesn't talk about discipline or injuries so we never know but I read somewhere that he is injured.

Sumlin said he's coming back from an injury in a press conference a few weeks back

Yeah, said speedy had been recovering from a lingering injury since early in fall practice I believe

Just his policy to not to disclose details

I've got a pretty good feeling it's something more than an injury

Said on the radio yesterday that he was stiff in warm ups and never could loosen up.

Just got home and watched part of the game. Saw Christian Kirk sitting down next to Speedy after a big play. Speedy fully suited up. Seems odd if he is injured and couldn't loosen up. Why suit up?

I keep seeing "hamstring" named as the injury.

They are very tight lipped over injuries. Sumlin only has said Noil has a "soft tissue" injury. Probably a hamstring.

I'm honestly with the LSU trolls on this. I think it's a discipline or maybe a conditioning issue. Hope I'm wrong, because so far Ratley looks like he couldn't catch a cold at the North Pole

Raley must just catch everything thrown his way in practice.

I'd like to see Pope more. He's made some big catches for us before. In actual games.

They said something the other day about oral surgery. I wasn't sure if it was Garrett or Speedy. They said somebody had to have wisdom teeth removed. Sumlin said later that Speedy wasn't ready to go. This offense will be at a completely other level once Speedy returns. Speedy, Kirk, Reynolds, RSJ and either Tra Carson or Tabuyo (5 wide set).

He has a legitimate injury.

Sumlin doesn't disclose injuries, which makes sense because it forces teams to prepare for Speedy each week even if he doesn't play. He's a monster on returns, and even though Kirk has shown he's a beast on returns as well I would pick speedy on punt/kick returns. Dude is just so fast and has a raw athletic ability to make plays.
