He's a bigger favorite in Vegas than Obama. This will be a landslide.

Yes, but I don't think it will be a landslide (although it should be). I think there are still too many voters caught up with the whole "freshman" thing.

Should easily win, but there are still a lot of ND homers and old fogies voting, so it could be close.

Yes.

Klein lost some votes Saturday night. Most of those votes probably went to JFF.

He should win with by a reasonable margin based on everything I have seen or read. Some voters have been on board with JFF for awhile so he has some deep support.

Yes. I believe voters are more likely to vote for a freshman than a defensive player, especially one that has sub-incredible stats.

Also, the power of the nickname for marketability purposes is underrated.

Yes, and we will here a LOUD outcry from ND and their shine boys in the media about changing the award to the best QB or RB player instead of "Most Outstanding" player.

my response.....it takes the best player to play QB or RB.

A linebacker's mistakes are not nearly as visible as a QB'S. That being said JFF made few mistakes this season. I believe he will win it but ND has all the media riding their jock so who knows

The Pitt running back basically made Te'O his bitch the entire game.

Yeah he will. In a year where somebody like Klein is on an undefeated team, no. But this year, he will win, and deservedly so.

I hate this argument this year, about how it's not fair that a defensive player can't win it. It's not about being a defensive player, it's about not being a Heisman worthy defensive player. Suh fans had grounds to complain, but Te'o would be 2nd team All SEC at best. Put him on Alabama or Georgia's team and no one in the country would know his name.

Klein threw 3 picks...against Baylor and lost by 28.

Manziel threw 3 picks...against LSU and lost by 5.

If anyone can't differentiate between those two, they don't deserve a vote.
