I actually love this move. Apparently he's covering speedy in summer 7on7's.

This kid is motivated to make it at the next level. I think he's a great CB prospect, and wish he would have made the move sooner.

I don't know if I love it or hate, but WOW.

I really expetced him to have a breakout year. He is the obvious choiuce to get the snaps Trey had last year.

Makes me feel a lot better about our corners.

It makes me feel good that we just gave Chavus a 6' 200 pound 4.3 running athelte to work with.

It make me feel worse about Ellis, Harvey, Garner, and Davis.

He's the fastest player on the team, struggled between tackles and holding on to the ball...

NFL scouts will love him.

I think he could be a plus defender early in the season: 6'1, 4.3, long arms, and press coverage all work to his benefit, it's not like he's got to learn the position and the scheme, just stick your man.

Ellis and Harvey are nickels, they're both really really good, but small.

Davis will be better in press man than he was last year, but again his matchups are limited.

I mean I guess if they think it's the best move then sure. But yikes about our CB situation

It'll be a good move for slim. Much better fit for his skills.

Our cb situation isn't great but think this is more trying to get an elite athlete on the field in a more useful role.

Corner is one of the defensive positions that first year players can come in and be successful. With the bonus that he is already physically/emotionally mature, and settled into the team. He's hungry, and possibly our most gifted pure athlete other than MG.

I love this. From what I understand Jackie's secret to success (and way around Texas dominance of recruiting) was to turn offensive skill players into defensive ones.

Did you feel good about it before?

I've no idea whether it will work, but I love it.

This just makes me think we are in bigger trouble than originally thought at the position.

Yeah, but you're a Debbie Downer to start with. Admit it, you know it's true. .

What were the alternatives? Devante Harris? Really? I think this is an excellent move. Bring on Tra Carson and James White and Jay Bradford and Kendall Bussey.

Hope it works out for him. I think he is around 210 now.

Guess he'll have to change his number again. I don't think him and Devante could be on the field at the same time wearing #1. Back to #5?

This is absolutely true.

I'm the last person you'd ever want to watch a game with. Especially aggie sporting events.

Dem Aggies.

They were good when I was a little kid back in the swc days, I was too busy playing sports to care, but once I started following it was at the end of rc just in time for Fran.

I just want championships in the three main sports damnit.
