Any of you know of Shawn smith, former tamu basketball player?

Anyone know much about him? He's been hanging out with my brother lately and seems pretty cool. he's playing at lee college in baytown, tx right now. What happened at tamu to make him Ineligible?

Was he the player from Florida who had an issue with the clearinghouse?

Shawn Smith was a skinny arse dude when I saw him walking around campus. Dude never qualified. I also recall him committing three separate times. Missouri and some Florida school. That could have had to do with grades though.
