Apparently Brett Wade is medically done.

No, that was 2014. Up until last cycle, the most recent season had the most bearing on the class one year later. Examples.

2007 season - 2009 class
2008 season - 2010 class
2009 season - 2011 class
2010 season - 2012 class
2011 season - 2013 class
2012 season - 2014 class

Your right the kids that signed in early 13 were mostly committed before our 2012 season and Johnny's heisman, that makes sense

I'm not trying to minimize how poorly that class has turned out, but... who the hell is Brett Wade? Had to look him up... FB. did he play a single down?

That class served its purpose. We took a lot of kids and a lot of risks for athletic/academic/character reasons. But we needed the recruiting hype and to infuse the roster with more SEC bodies, whether or not they ended up contributing. Glad we're past it now. I think we nailed the 2014/2015 classes, save missing on elite corners.

Remember if RSJ comes even close to his potential for us this year he is worth more than 5 of the kids that didn't make it.

His upside is enormous and I'm still holding out for a Mike Evans ish season from him

Except we're not. We will notice that depth hit for sure.

2011 and 2012 were exactly solid. Most sec teams would have processed as many kids as we've lost anyway lol. On to the next one. I'd rather have an empty slot this year than a non producing senior.

Hell at Tennessee they don't always make it to their sophomore year.

RSJ is soft mentally. He's no Evans. Evans was a stone cold killer.

I mean, I wish he'd suddenly get hard too, but I don't see it.

I'm hoping, that's all. He has all of the physical tools and he has to realize he is running out of time to show his potential to the NFL
