Damn man that's awful. Sorry for what they're going through right now.

I appreciate that. They are safe. But this is just a real eye opener. Life can change in an instant.

That Bastrop fire took everything in it's path, including towering pine trees.

A lot of trees seem to be surviving the California wildfire (based on pictures...could be wrong though). Unfortunately, both natural disasters have destroyed homes.

I read something claiming that the wineries are actually acting as a shield to the town of Napa. It didn't explain why, but apparently they are helping prevent the fire from spreading into town. Which is very very good.

Sounds like something I'd be interested in studying after this is all over.

State Fair ends a week from Sunday. Get up to Dallas to get you a funnel cake bacon queso burger. Bert had 4 already.

It was good, but I want to try and recreate it at home. Some legit bacon and burger meat. Throw some biscuit dough in a fryer and use those for buns. Get better queso than Cheese Wiz lol.

Asking for a friend of course

I got guilted into doing this 12 week weight loss challenge at gold's gym as moral support for Aggiebelle to lose the baby weight (which, by the way, was a joke to begin with--she worked out all the way up to and including the say she went into labor ). Usually today is my cheat say but I'm postponing it to tomorrow so I can have a pizza or something during the Aggie game.

Long story short....that funnel cake bacon queso burger is looking amazing right about now. And I hate you for it

I had the fried cheesecake last year. Also the Bacon Fried Cinnamon Roll. Both were amazing. I try to mix it up though. And as I get older I know it's not wise to eat everything

Well next week on your cheat day, bring Aggiebelle and babyAgg to the State fair for bye week.

Community Brewing, one of the local Dallas brewers, makes a funnel cake beer. They also have bacon margaritas.

I'll consider it

Actually going to be in Aggieland visiting family the weekend of the State game. Tryna weasel my way into some tickets but if it's a late game we probably won't be able to stick around.

Yeah I'm considering going to that one too. I may just watch on t.v. though.

I don't think I've ever yelled at a tv as much as I did when RSJ was wrongfully ejected in the state game in 2015.

Yeah if I don't go to this one, I just won't go to a game this year. Q is still super young so Aggiebelle doesn't want him in too many loud environments.

Fun atmosphere vs. State tho. Went to the game a couple years ago when we played Dak and Co. at Kyle Field and it was a blast. Think that game and the UT game last year are our biggest conference home wins so far.

Kyle Field noise is no joke.

Although we're probably taking him to a couple of Spurs games in the spring. AT&T Center also is loud af so he should be ready for fall
