moving from Dallas, shy of 30, decent income, where are some areas I should look at?

Married? Kids or want them? Heavy into nightlife or outdoors activities?

Soon to be, not any time soon, don't go out as much as we used to, like outdoors but would also like being close to downtown

Be prepared the lease a BMW and act like you're rich so you can fit in.

Well if you do buy a BMW I would recommend against ever using the dealership on Lemmon in Dallas for your purchase. Bunch of lazy assholes. Wait until you get to ATX for that.

I've never seen this mentioned and I think it is worth crowing about:
Anthony Wood '90 - Roku founder

quote:

“We do an all-hands meeting once a year, and our last one was 600 people. In the early days, there were only 10 or 20 of us, so I thought I’d train the staff on the proper way to start a meeting by saying, ‘Howdy.’ Now that we’ve grown, I still say it by default, and they all say ‘Howdy’ back.”

I am. But for any other coach it wouldn't be nearly as funny. Sanctimonious a-hole. Thank goodness he was saved by a Gracious God!

I assume he was calling those services for recruits, not himself. I haven't followed the story too closely. Do we know yet?

That is my assumption as well. Some 4 or 5 star asked for a booty call while on a visit to Oxford and he made it happen.

Thanks for sharing, that's awesome. No idea Roku was created by an ag, makes me feel even better about my recent purchase for me mum.

I'd be surprised if any of us knew. It was a "Wait, whut?" moment for me. Good for him!
