We're doing judgment calls from the mods now.
Was turning into more of a production than it needed to be otherwise.

Am I a bad aggy for no longer wearing my ring? It's antiqued so it's not a shining beacon of bling or anything, but since moving out of state I feel like I just look like a dumbass who wears his college ring to work

Bag Ag? No. But it does seem a little strange that you feel like a dumbass for wearing it. I wouldn't care that much what people think.

Yeah doesn't make you a bad AG but I'm not sure why you'd feel like a dumbass. If anything it makes more sense for you out of state since all these other damn Texas schools have started wearing class rings too. I've personally never had it happen to me but I've seen some "hey man what A&M class are you?"........"I went to tech"....... Them, sips, Sam Houston, too. Don't embarrass yourself and just run up to anybody with a big ring on their right hand these days. Everybody in state wears them now so I'd argue it would make more sense for you out of state, but it's whatever floats your boat. I worked too damn hard to earn mine after being on scholastic probation after my first semester that I'm always gonna wear this thing.

I am almost back down to a size that my ring will fit again. I am very excited about this. As soon as it fits I'm wearing it.

But come on Farmer, you know you would have taken the LHN deal if ESPN offer it! Anyone would!

I believe our administration would have screwed it up.

Oh I was being facetious, it was a bad deal period.
ESPN: "Hey Texas, we will give you all this money but we need certain things in the contract."
Texas: "Ok well we will ask the Big 12 about those..."
ESPN: "Or you can say yes right now and take the money while we are offering it and worry about those schlubs later."
Only Texas says "Sure thing!" to that. Alabama probably got the same offer they did, and turned it down to not piss off historical rivals. A USC or Ohio St could have gotten the same deal, but they knew that taking it would piss off regional rivals.
The big truth Texas ignores is that you can't move a university (aka if you piss off all the schools around it) and you can't create new historical rivalries overnight. No other team that could have gotten a LHN deal would have taken it, that is the truth.
