Swope kinda has the asterisk. He retired shortly into fall camp iirc

I feel really bad when I think about Swope. He's most definitely one of those guys who sacrificed his body for the maroon and white (particularly in the Baylor '11 and Bama '12 games, among countless others). He didn't deserve to have that happen to him.

Yes he was a tough sob and I loved watching him play. I swear I thought he was done for after that hit in the Bama game. But he stood up shook his head and kept on trucking

Even the announcers thought there'd be a targeting penalty against the Tide on that hit. Should have been.

#25 just got up and screamed at BDS as if to ask, "THAT'S ALL Y'ALL GOT?!!?!"

That's warrior right there

You should try to get him on the show, that would be awesome.

Working some angles...

The OAFC doesn't have the clout of TA Radio.

I drank nothing but whiskey and waters last night to see if it'd help my hangover. It actually worked. Gotta get creative as you get older. Couldn't be too hungover since I, for some reason, agreed to play basketball today.

Well I was at Cracker Barrel having breakfast at 8 before that I was watching the idiot box. Just got home from my regular Sunday morning AA meeting. So not sleeping off a bender.

It really does help. I've gotten better about hydrating throughout the night as well.

It sucks because if I drink beers I just get tired now since I'm old

I had some classes with Swope too, he's a really good dude. One of my three or four favorite Ags ever

Ir just takes what feels like a thousand beers for me to get a good steady buzz. By the time it happens I've pissed like 20 times, it's 1 AM, and I'm yawning.

I feel your pain.
