I'm going to leave this here so I don't forget. Iosh has been banned (I think....no avi but it shows him online now).
Here's what he knows
It's a little harsh but I'm not really sure what's wrong with his opinion here. The topic itself seems to beg for this reaction tbh. He was told to "take a break" but neither he nor I know what that means. My guess is that it is a day ban or something for attacking another poster. If anyone sees a reinstatement thread or anything throw his name out.

Almost.

Waste of money. It will never taste the same as Blue Bell and anything that comes out of it will taste awful.
There are the only 2 types of ice cream I'll ever consume; Blue Bell and Mexican street style ice cream. One of them is currently not for sale and the other can only be purchased in central mexico.

Try fresh lemons or mangos. Ice Cream is supposed to taste good, not healthy.

My wife has been on a kick to try to healthy-ify bad stuff I like. Such as pizza turned gluten free. Or lasagna with a white bean paste instead of ricotta cheese. Or brownies with things like avocados in them instead of milk. Ice cream is just another hurdle to jump.

I dunno man... My wife's home made ice cream tastes better than Blue Bell. Especially vanilla made with real physical vanilla beans. You just have to be serious about it and use the best ingredients. Just throwing shite together as quick and easy as possible will yeild a poor result. It's actually decently time consuming to get right.

Amen! God invented Whole Foods and Central Market for a reason. Good ingredients make all the difference.
Plus after a while you get used to healthy stuff. I am looking more forward to the green juice I will drink tonight than the Lonestar Light I will drink afterwards.

It hits the spot when you are craving something sweet, but watching what you eat.
There is a new Whole Foods kind of close by. I'm going to hit it up this weekend. We have a Trader Joes even closer. And I see a signed by my hood of a farmer market type grocery store being built. So long Kroger, HEB, Randalls, and my money.
