Ryan Swope
PROS
Explosive leg drive in both his routes and as an elite receiver blocker
Quick, developed short area routes
Powerful, balanced runner after catch
CONS
Doesn’t extend away from his body well
Lacks great top end speed
OVERALL
The former running back recruit, Swope has become a short area route technician as a receiver, while still having the strength and balance to be strong runner after catch. Likely limited to the slot at the next level, it’s his bulk as a runner and definition as a receiver that should allow him to be one of the premier slot receivers in this class.

Draft Gem: Ryan Swope
He’s projected by many to be a third or fourth round pick in this year’s draft. The Bills are in desperate need for a bigger wide receiver to lineup opposite Stevie Johnson, and Swope might be the guy. Especially if the Bills do bring in a young quarterback having another weapon could be vital to his success.

8 East-West Shrine Game Prospects for the Packers
Christine Michael
Height: 5'10"
Weight: 220 pounds
Thompson kept a very close eye on Christine Michael during practice, as Michael was definitely one of the better players on the field. Michael rushed for 42 yards and a touchdown in the West's 28-13 victory over the East. Michael also caught a pass for seven yards.
Michael fits a mold for Thompson, as he has flown a bit under the radar due to injuries in college. Very similar to James Starks.
Michael only rushed for 417 yards his senior year at Texas A&M, but did score 12 touchdowns. Injuries kept Michael from playing full seasons in both 2010 (broken tibia) and 2011 (knee). Combined, Michael had 1,530 yards and 12 touchdowns those seasons.
As a freshman, Michael had 844 yards rushing and 10 touchdowns.
Michael's performance this past week may have given him an opportunity to be selected on the second day of the draft (third round).

If there is an injury or two, Texas A&M running back Christine Michael will be asked to join the Senior Bowl. Michael had a great week in St. Petersburg for the East-West Shrine. WalterFootball.com has been told by sources that the Green Bay Packers, New Orleans Saints and New York Jets love Michael. Some believe that he might sneak into the third round.

It'll be interesting to see where he goes. He's always had an Adrian Peterson like build (build, not explosiveness or tackle breaking ability) that should fit in somewhere. Hopefully he can stay healthy and prove his worth somewhere.

Actually Michael reminds me of DeMarco Murray more than Peterson. The key for Michael has always been between his ears. If he is fully bought in and driven he can do anything. Hope he can make it on the next level, he's got the skills.

The toughest of the wide receivers, however, was Texas A&M's Ryan Swope, who Lappano specifically mentioned as having been the best of the team's blockers on the first day of practice. He followed Lappono's advice of blocking where "wind up, not where they lined up," consistently doing the quiet dirty work that helped the South's running backs chew up big yardage.

I heard that his attitude was what kept him from playing in the Cotton Bowl, don't know if its anything more than a rumor.
