You here all the time about the massive staff that Alabama utilizes to prepare for games and recruit players. The Sips enlarged their staff last year. Arkansas' coach just stated he plans on hiring a couple more former coaches to augment his staff.

Has there been any news on what A&M plans to do?

Some of this stuff is of "questionable" NCAA legality.

It isn't illegal. I've seen a bunch of posters really critical of our staff, but they are working against schools like Bama.

This news article says that Bama has 24 non-coaching personnel and this does not include graduate assistants.

The NCAA has been trying to limit this stuff and cap support staffs for several years, getting as far as a formal vote a couple years ago. It's gonna go away eventually.

We need to embrace the competitive landscape until things change.
