We offered a lesser QB, didn't tell Tate beforehand and now Tate can't get in touch with the coaching staff. The tweets are 100% directed at Sumlin.

Conjecture or fact?

Apparently I'm not making myself clear. The point is that so many of the things that become huge issues and complaints are completely fabricated.

But yet you believe everything that has been said about coach Sumlin because of tarp some 24/7 mod. dont even reply by saying what you know is fact, because it absolutely is not. Empathy is gone when it comes to message board fodder.

So far, Sumlin has proven them right. Their track record is almost better than his is at this point.

I'm sure you're not trying to be ironic, but you are because you're stating another wild assumption and then ripping me for it.

I absolutely don't know all the facts, Tate's deleted tweets could very well have been about what everyone is talking about, but at least stick to facts. Something getting repeated on the internet several times doesn't qualify as a fact check.

I'd hate to see what's being posted on TA.

Yes. Yes you would.

Two things about this maybe non-story bother me:

1) The wild jumping to conclusions and hollering about the sky falling.

2) If the tweets WERE about A&M pursuing another QB, so what? When did HS players get to be such prima donnas that they have to have their hand held every minute else they'll get their feelings hurt? What is that all about? And haven't we learned anything from the last episode of all-about-me QBs?

I'm not saying that's what Martell is about. For all I know the tweets were about a girlfriend.

247 has basically confirmed that they aren't

Yes, we just had two 5 star QBs transfer out. Both had trust issues with the staff, and at least one of those two was justified.

Now we have another 5 star QB, who is recruiting like a banshee for us. We're damn lucky he didn't decommit himself. If he was told he was going to be the only QB we took, and we went back on that promise, then the issue isn't that he's a prima donna. If you're a college football head coach, dealing with prima donnas is part of why you get paid millions of dollars. It comes with the territory.

But if the real issue isn't Tate being a Prima Donna. The real issue, if the situation is what it seems, is that Kevin Sumlin is giving reason to greatly doubt whether he has the judgment to be our HC.

Finest, when you ask "haven't we learned anything from the last episode of all-about-me QBs?" you're absolutely right. Except I would change it to hasn't Sumlin learned anything? If you made a promise, and you're going back on it due to necessity, the LEAST you can do is be up front with the person to whom you're breaking a promise. There's just no excuse for not telling Tate first, and certainly no excuse for not getting in touch with him now.

I think Aggies should start a twitter campaign to recruit Sci Martin (LINK ). Led LA in sacks and is the teammate of Chattman. Hasn't committed yet and is actually a member of the 2016 class. We could use another DE in this class.

That's damage control. Someone probably threatened to start comparing him to Manziel 2016 instead of Manziel 2012.

That's some well thought out unsubstantiated horseshite. You should probably contact Taylor Hamm.

It doesn't have to be substantiated. The very fact that the scenario in question could even be considered legitimate by anyone shows how poorly the coaching staff has been able to handle ANY sort of adversity.

Wow. "Considered legitimate" by WHO??? The clowns here?

Good for you for sticking to the narrative, though. Attaboy.
