The 2016 and 2017 classes have produced a lot of early contributors, will be interesting to see if the next coach can retain them and in 2019 we have a deep upper class laden team.

Don't think I saw Starkel on there. He was solid vs UCLA and built the big lead before breaking his ankle.

Imagine his stats/contribution if he had 2 1/2 more games under his belt.

Those that follow recruiting know that Renfro was not exactly the most popular offer/commit in the 2017 clsss. He and Jacob Kibodi have served quite a bit of crow during their short time in Aggieland.

Myles Jones

I feel like whenever I focus on him he is getting lit up. I'm not surprised at the amount of stats w/how much he seems to get thrown on.

He has great size but the instincts learned from experience need to kick in fast or he will have a hard time in conference play.

word. donovan wilson's offer was also a questionable one. speedy really overshadows our LA guys, but going back to Deshazor everett and jonathan stewart, our track record is pretty good. even claiborne was a budding star

I would like to see Kibodi get some more carries. I think he has a lot of upside at this point.

Mazzone's refusal to have Kibodi and Ford get the bulk of the carries and Williams the bulk of the catches shows his incompetence as a playcaller and schemer.

only group thats disappointing is WR. we have some talent there and it should be the easiest position for newcomers to make an impact.

Aside from some issues with drops in the first couple of games I have a hard time judging the WRs too harshly considering they have a true fish QB who is still getting used to the speed of the game and learning how to go through his progressions.

Far too often there will be a guy open that Mond does not see b/c he doesn't make his reads fast enough or sees too late and causing the pass to either not go for as much as it could have or to get broken up by the defense.

If anything it's out tight ends that are disappointing. They seem to be the ones who still have the most issues dropping passes.
