All week I have been wondering if Beaty leaving hurt more than I assumed when it happened. We started struggling with recruiting as soon as he got hired at Kansas.
I kinda like the setup though, last year I cared more about signing Daylon Mack than any single game. This season there is no guaranteed NSD silver lining, so now the actual football games (here and in Austin) are what matters.
Can't wait.

West coast is Jeff banks area, and he may be our best recruiter on staff.
That kid put us in his top 6 the day after we offered. Really like our chances of he comes to campus.
If sec approves satellite camps I think we'll kill the south west. Being the border SEC team is actually pretty awesome.
Recruiting this year is slower than it has been in 10 years(state of tx, not us specifically) early recruiting is over

Beitiku is an absolute monster. Watch his HUDL. It's beyond jaw-dropping. But his guardian is no other than former NFL linebacker LaVar Arrington. It's going to be hard to beat Penn State and the local California schools.
Trayveon Williams committed to TCU today...He was a target people thought would commit to us but never did. Really makes the Keith Ford transfer ease off the pressure here but Williams is a nice looking back built in the mold of Tre Williams. Looking forward, we still have some nice targets though and instead of taking 2 backs like originally planned, probably just need one now.....
