Their follow up on the Griffin story was going to make the rounds back here and to other outlets following this development. It's standard to address a conflicting report how it was stated to support a my new report that contains new details suggesting otherwise. Second, if you have no idea what's gone on behind the scenes or even what's being said and allowed to stay up on other sites regarding myself and this site) then you're really not in a position to say we've overreacted to anything or are engaging in any sort of schoolboy behavior. In the end, both have sources, and both ended up with essentially the same conclusion while both attacking each other... that's the part that is tiresome. ... but at least we consumers have the info corroborated!

Exactly. Where was the site-v-site attack on our side? Some of you (and it's a tiny group) get so caught up in the 'we don't like the petty arguments being brought over here' that you don't even realize that it had NOTHING to do with anyone else's reporting an then we're getting slammed by a mod on another site who is calling into question our character and even going so far as to invoke the Aggie Code of Honor into the discussion. It's beyond over-the-top and you guys who act as if you wouldn't so much as respond the 100th time this happened amuse me.

So a mixed bag on Tuesday but I'll continue to follow these two subjects that have caught the interest of Aggie fans.
And one more note: Patience is at an all-time low today on my end so keep things civil around here because there is a group of about five posters who are one step from joining zgermanag on 'Permabanned Island.'

I noticed that Texas isn't pushing for early commitments either and both of us (and OU!) are currently lower than Baylor and TCU in the rankings. Either that means early recruiting as Mack Brown created it is dead, or this cycle is a sea change (which given the UH stuff kinda scares me).
As a football fan I feel next year is the year when we can have high expectations, but we really need a good season this year to have a good class it seems.
