Are you higher on Rogers than you were when he committed? He's been having a big year, but idk much about the competition?

.You don't have to project where these kids are going to school. The kids I listed absolutely broadcast where their interests were on social media, with writers from recruiting services, and by their actions. The Fab 5 kids actually publicly tweeted and discussed with recruiting services that they were all waiting for Hasty's offer, just as the current kids were waiting for Anderson to get an offer.

Yeah maybe but these kids play games, you can't count on anything until the LOI is signed, period.

eh I wasn't necessarily down on him, just commenting that his film didn't scream out to me. But he blew up our camp and I'll never object to a guy that does that

AMo loves him. Derunya Wilson with better speed but I haven't seen any of his senior film

Yeah, junior film was just so so it seemed. Probably a bit of a late bloomer, like a lot of taller guys.

Amo ought to know. He is putting up huge games this year, but I've only seen a handful of plays.

Nanos, Flopping on defense had little to do with it. Not getting these kids in the "boat" was what hurt this team. Malik (an early signee) and Daylon Mack started looking around after Hasty didn't get the offer and that brought instability to the class.

What are you talking about? We offered Hasty in the summer of 2013. Stop shitting up this thread

Were you born in 98? I don't see how you can actually believe that. They're 17 year old kids, of course the idea of playing with your friends is thrown around.

Offering Hasty wouldn't of changed a dank thing. Malik would still be in burnt orange.

The idea of having Brandon Jones, Daylon Mack & Myles Garret on our defense next year makes me smile. Really would like to get a lockdown corner though. One of my favorite positions on the field. I felt like Monroe could be that for us. It'll be scary seeing him lineup across from KT2 next year

Also, would anyone like to speculate on who they think will be leaving early for the draft from our team? I assume Dae Dae & Justin Evans will if they get a decent draft grade but have no real clue. Just a guess

Were we recruiting at corner or safety?

We like him at corner I'm pretty sure.

Daeshon seems the most likely.

Ifedi or Gennesy might feel the urge to jump, but neither would be a high pick.

Really doubt Evans gets a good draft grade, he can fly around but he's been a liability at times and the cause of some of our biggest runs allowed.

Oh and Josh Reynolds is the guy I'm worried about the most. He is crazy good, hope he intends to stick around one more year.

Yeah Josh is a monster. Going to have a great NFL career. Reminds me of Vincent Jackson

In the big picture, it's a good problem to have. Better than not having any players that NFL scouts covet. Recruits like to see us put players in the NFL...to state the obvious.

Shane, He never got an offer. I was a member of all the recruiting sites at that time. He walked away from an A&M camp withhout the offer. Here is the link with his offers. The link below it talks a little about the Fab 5. There was more in depth articles on the premium links.

Mack, Dunning and Pryor verballed to A&M.

Hasty verballed to Baylor.

So if Jefferson didn't go to A&M because Hasty didn't go there, he must have followed Hasty to Waco, right?

No. He went to Austin. Despite three of the other four Fab5 members becoming Aggies, he became a longhorn instead. He spurned ALL of them.

If we had taken Hasty, nothing would have changed. We still would have had a shitty defense, Snyder still would have gotten canned, Sumlin still wouldn't have spilled the beans and told Malik that we had Chavis in the bag, and Malik's family still would have had the heated "intervention" with him to push him to the clusterfrick acres.

And those others like Soso (UCLA) and Lodge (Ole Miss), they followed their own paths, too. Kids talk all the time about playing together, but it's just not something you can bank on.

Little/Jones/Anderson will be the same way.
