It's looking like tu and Ole Miss are the only other real players maybe a Bama but they haven't been on him. I would be surprised if he didn't go to a&m

Brandon Jones' mother wants him at A&M, but Jones doesn't want to be an Aggie at the moment. Greg Little, Deontay Anderson, and Brandon Jones all wanted to play together at A&M. A&M staff "slow" played Anderson and it opened the door for others to start recruiting all three.

This situation is very similar to the "Fab 5" situation last year. Daylon Mack, Justin Dunning, Larry Pryor, Malik Jefferson (Texas), and JaMychal Hasty (Baylor). Hasty was the only kid without an offer when all were ready to sign.
REALLY bad "strategic" error on A&M's part. A&M probably would have also signed Soso Jamabo, Damarkus Lodge, DeAndre McNeal and probably at least 2/3 (Holton Hill, Kris Boyd, and Kendall Sheffield). Instead of finishing with 6 to 7 "Blue Chip" players, we pulled in Kendall Bussey, Dwain Thomas, Claude George, and I believe Damon Ratley. These guys may be great, but the other kids would have dealt a blow to the Texas, Bama, UCLA, and Ole Miss programs.

Potential Positive News!!!
Chris Daniel Bleacher Report article says that he will commit on his birthday. He is very "high" on A&M and has visited 3 times unofficially. It appears he will visit again against Bama. A poster on the comment page says that he is Chris Daniel's relative and Daniel's has told him that he will commit to A&M (if you believe him).

You're projecting, we don't know what would have happened nor do we know why our staff did and didn't offer certain guys. You can't say who would have done what, these are kids who change their minds more than their dicks get hard. Don't invest so much into where a kid decides to go, would we like to have all the 5 star blue chips, yes, are we going to get them, no. Trust in the staff until they give you reason not to.

Flopping on defense and not having a DC in place during crootin season probably hurt more than our recruiting strategy.

Today Hamm said blacklock would probably be next to commit on defense and thought we wouldn't take Daniels. Diesch for offense.
Brandon jones supposedly had a roommate lined up for a&m months ago. His mom supports his decision but Brandon wants to stay close to his fam, they're very close.
Cleveland is an Ag lean, and was set to recommit on his bday but decided to push it out further. Probably towards the end of this season.

Agforlife...You don't have to project where these kids are going to school. The kids I listed absolutely broadcast where their interests were on social media, with writers from recruiting services, and by their actions. The Fab 5 kids actually publicly tweeted and discussed with recruiting services that they were all waiting for Hasty's offer, just as the current kids were waiting for Anderson to get an offer.

Upsetting. Imo, we aren't in the position to tell a 4 star DT we won't accept your commitment. Id be bringing as many of those guys on campus as I could seeing how our biggest weakness is stopping the run

this thread is such a shitshow that I regret reading it every time I do. If you listen to our fans, we've got incompetent coaches and recruiters all across our staff and yet somehow we are 5-0 and in the top 10 and are littered with NFL talent. Weird
Sometimes I wonder about our fans but then I think about it and every fanbase is that way. Everyone thinks they know everything and being a college football coach is no more than tic-tac-toe where every move is obvious
