John Gibbons might be looking at a nice suspension for coming back on the field after being ejected also. No idea what the precedent is for that

If I am Gibbons boss, I am glad he came back out and had his players back and not stayed away.

Absolutely. I could see MLB not looking kindly on it though. Chavez deserves a nice suspension as well just for being a dumbass and hitting Fielder the next inning after everything had settled back down

Again. I don't fault Chavez there. The scales were still tipped to the Rangers. They got to plunk Joey & punch him in the face. All the Blue Jays got was a dirty slide.

I think Rougie will probably get 10+ announced and appealed down to about 4 or 5. Considering there were no injuries I don't think it will be a record setting suspension but who knows.

Jose Altuve has some competition for shortest MLBer now. Vandy's Tony Kemp got called up. How pissed are pitchers going to be have to deal with 2 tiny arse zones. And if Kemp works out, they may bat back to back.

Is there a short player movement going on? Seems there are more and more showing up at all levels of play.

I ain't that old, dammit.

Pronounced PAH-tek.

He was a 5'5" major league SS from Seguin (I think). Played most of his career with the Royals. He was an idol for us little guys.

Looks like the Rangers will be playing in a new park by 2021.

I'm really torn about it. Having ac in the summer will be awesome. But I absolutely love the ballpark. It has really aged well and would last like Wrigley and Fenway if they wanted it to. But I am glad it is staying in Arlington. I will probably grow to love the new park too. But right now I am pretty torn about it

Obviously I don't follow the Rangers closely, but I thought the old ballpark was aging quite well, too.

i do love the BPiA.... but, i did go see the Rangers wax that Astro arse last weekend in MinuteMaid. That AC was pretty sweet and i'd be more interested in going to summer games in Arlington if i knew that was there.

No shocker there. MMP > Arlington's ballpark. Now Arlington wants to build a park the shockingly resembles MMP.
