I've always held the opinion that college basketball exhibitions are my favorite because you always find out about a school you never knew existed

I think I'm a little higher on this team than others. Yes, we don't have the depth that we had last year. But, this is a team that is very talented. Tyler davis is going to have a monster season. The reports of him turning his weight into muscle seem true. Also, we can still create mismatches with our front 7 players.

I really think we have the 2nd best team in the conference. I'm predicting 12-6, and around 21 or 22 wins with a second straight trip to the tournament

If Gilder and Davis have progressed like has been reported I think we can be pretty damn good. I've been encouraged by what I've read about JC Hampton too. I think this team will take better shots than last year and not be as streaky, but obviously won't have the same level of individual talent. Your prediction sounds right to me too

Nothing in particular. He is going to be a major contributor but Trocha is going to start. I would really like a big lineup of

Gilder
Hogg
Trocha
Williams
Davis

I think that lineup with Gilder controlling the ball could give people trouble

I also think we will see a better flow this year on offense, if only because house and Jalen are no longer here to dominate the ball

I think something that really hasn't been discussed is that our lineup is full of players who can competently play two way basketball, outside of Trocha

That is a BIG lineup. Kennedy ought to show quite a few different lineups in the early games, that's def one I will be excited to see.

I think I'll have a little more optimistic prediction than the last couple of seasons, but still cautious. Who ended up replacing Stansbury?

Nonconference.

Wins: NW State, American, 2/3 in Cal. Tournament, TAMU-CC, Denver, SCSU, St. Francis

Tossups: USC, 1/3 in Cal. Tournament, Arizona?, at West Virginia

Losses: Can't really put a sure loss in because I don't know that much about our opponents in noncon.

Best Case: 12-0

Worst Case: 8-4

Likely: 11-1 (I think we'll lose one)

Conference schedule

Wins: South Carolina, LSU, Arkansas, Georgia, Vanderbilt, at LSU, Missouri, Auburn, at Missouri

Tossups: Tennessee, at Mississippi State, at Ole Miss, at Florida, Alabama, Kentucky

Losses: at Kentucky, at Vanderbilt (that fricking court), at Arkansas (haven't ever won in that arena)

Best Case Scenario: 15-3

Worst Case Scenario: 9-9

Likely: 10-6

That would give us a 21-7 record going into the SEC Tournament and probably require 1-2 wins to have a decent seed. We SHOULD make the dance, but nothing is certain.
