we're just looking for bench guys who we can put on the court and not cause the game to completely collapse.
Kobie has had some good awful turnovers, and at critical times too. Late in the 2H, he let an easy pass bounce right off his hands to a defender leading to a fastbreak the other way.
Maybe it's due to a lack of playing time, but nothing he's shown on the court tells me he can be a regular contributor.

We have some great talent. Why are we struggling so much?
Turnovers
We make too many dumb passes, flub too many easy catches, and are generally sloppy with the ball

Sounds like your coach needs to start recruiting better so we have a decent bench. What a disaster

We lost FOUR starters and had our planned starting PG declared ineligible.
Side note, the team that knocked us out of the tournament last year, Oklahoma, that then went on to the final four, is 9-18 this year. I'm sure it's the coach's fault.

Mark Turgeon won tournament games with rosters worse than this.
The shame of it is we'll be stacked next year if everyone comes back and he'll stumble into another tournament birth and get a five year extension. And round and round we go.

Yeah that'd be a real shame if we won a lot of games and went to the tournament, I know how much that would disappoint you.
If everyone came back, we'd absolutely be on track for a final four run. However, I just don't see that happening with Williams' projections and the rumors about Trocha.

Dash's offensive effiency ratings were abysmal. He couldn't shoot, couldn't hit FTs and was a turnover machine.

Billy Kennedy has won three tournament games over a 20 year career (one of which required a freaking miracle), and you actually think he could coach a team to four straight tournament wins?
Gimme some of that shite you're smoking, Holmes.

Oh and Krueger took over a dumpster fire team coming off a losing season, had them in the tournament in year 2, and then made 3 more tournament appearances in a row (the last of which, as you said, was a Final Four). If Kennedy copied that people would be happy to give him a mulligan. However, he has actually never made back to back tournament appearances in twenty years because he doesn't coach fundamentals.

Reigning SEC COTY and coach of the reigning SEC champs, deal with it.

A 14 team conference and the 2 co-champs were the only teams to make the round of 64. Kentucky, Co-champ #1, made it to the round of 32 and we needed a freaking Festivus miracle to exceed that modest achievement.
Cliff Notes: SEC Champs last year was a fairly meaningless achievement.

Seriously though, are you related to him? A personal friend? A particularly dedicated troll? There's simply no way that somebody could watch our sub-par fundamentals, year after year, and think that he's a great coach worth keeping around.

He just enjoys egging on those who don't like Kennedy's coaching acumen (or lack thereof).

Sure there is: The ones who are responsible for keeping him around only care about his perfect church attendance.

This is such a stupid cherry picked stat.
He was 7 years into the 20 before he coached at a program that had EVER been to the NCAA tournament. His 8th year he coached at a program that had been to the ncaa tournament, because he took them to their first ever ncaa tournament.

I love it. If we were tied for 1st but lost to the other 1st place team and one of us called our team "co-champs," this place would lose its mind. But we tied for 1st and beat the other team and everyone's using "co-champs" as a derogatory statement towards the team.
Just admit it, most of you LOVE being losers.

Not denying that Dash was terribad. But what we have this year is something else. It's very disappointing.

I wasn't using it as a derogatory name. Merely wanted to show that the two best teams our conference could produce both faired poorly in the tournament.

Dude. You're advocating for the retention of a coach who's finished under .500 in conference in 4 of his 6 year (3 of those in the worst P5 conference in the country) and you're saying that WE love to lose??
