Even looking back to last year, Hogg has been super inconsistent. He needed to take over House or Jones's role this year and has not stepped up to the plate.

I'm not even blaming Kennedy for this loss, as Sumlin's fecal countenance has now affected all aspects of the Athletic Department.

Who cares? He's been there like 6 years.

The good ones reload.

Lol there are like 5 programs that "reload"... He should have had better pgs in the pipeline but if jj Caldwell is eligible this team would make the ncaa tournament.

Pass. As an Aggie, I expect good teams.

Get rid of this new army attitude where it's okay to be average in shite.

I like Kennedy a lot. Jj Caldwell would change the entire dynamic of this team.

If you need all star talent at every position to sniff the tournament, you're not a good coach. That's Kennedy to a T.

Kennedy was doing a crappy job before Sumlin got here.

He got diagnosed with Parkinsons the season he was here before Sumlin got here lol.

He also tied for the SEC regular season championship last year, and sumlins best year with the poty was 3rd in the division.

Kennedy is 100% responsible for the pg roster hole.

Let me give a classic Kennedy example. Coming into tonight, Trocha was shooting 27% from 3. So, it's very, very obvious at this point that whatever Nowitski dreams that Trocha is harboring simply aren't realistic. Trocha is not a good 3 point shooter.

And yet, Trocha still seems to have the green light as he shot 3 of them tonight. I can promise you that Trocha 3s are shots that other teams actively hope that we will take because the points/possession payoff is so crappy. And yet Kennedy STILL hasn't reined Trocha in. He seems to be able to take them whenever. It was the same with House last year. He was taking long, contested 3 pointers in game 1, and he was taking long, contested 3 pointers against UNI.

That's not a "wait until he gets his guys" issue, it's simply bad coaching. I could join the team tomorrow and a decent coach could teach me not to take dumbass shots like that in about 90 seconds. Yet here we are, halfway through the season, and Trocha is still taking shots that should be restricted to pick up ball in the Rec.

He's a bad coach, plain and simple. That's why he's made the tournament 1 out of 5 years here and why it's soon going to be 1 out of 6.

I bet you're a lot of fun to drink a beer with.

Nah, just kidding.

No reasonable person expected A&M to beat or stay close to UK. UK will win the SEC easily. The bigger worry for me is the next game at USC.

Come on, man. The line was 15 and we lost by 40 something. The Canisius Golden Griffins (whoever the hell they are) only lost to Kentucky by 25. A lot of reasonable people didn't think we'd no show the way we did.

As far as drinking a beer with me... Honestly, between Sumlin, Kennedy, and growing up and having my own shite to deal with, I don't spend nearly as much time watching Aggie sports as I used to, but this one was nationally televised so I caught a few minutes. Same as always. Sloppy, shitty basketball by a below average head coach who got Disney Sports Movie lucky and landed an epic recruiting class and an exceptionally talented assistant right before his contract was up for renewal.

Oh well. At least our A-Team of contract negotiators learned from Sumlin, realized Kennedy had no bargaining power whatsoever, and didn't give him a ridiculous contract with a 7 million dollar buyout or something stupid like... wait, WHAT!?!?

Morelos shot 37% from the three last year, and it was a big positive for the team.

Who cares? He's shooting like crap this year and we're almost halfway through the season. That's a big enough sample size to show what we've got: he is not a good 3 point shooter so he should not be taking those shots anymore.

It's amazing the difference in shot selection quality when you don't have a point guard. Once again, it all falls on BK for not having a better pipeline, but JJ changes the whole team dynamic.

not many on this board would be honestly. Way too high strung. I'm constantly amazed how emotionally some folks take everything.
