No, he never committed there. Really he's never even considered the horns. His sister runs track for A&M and most everyone has him marked as an eventual signee. Last I heard he wants to take his visits in the fall before committing though.

think we have one coming up this Sunday. I'm pretty sure the coaches have been on vacation the last little bit but we should start to see activity again this week

think it was just one of those 1-day things with unknowns there. Our big camp, comparable to y'alls, is at end of month - the 21st iirc. That's when multiple targets will be on campus.
This weekend WR Mark Andrews (AZ) was the only target of note. He's listed by the sites as WR/TE but we're recruiting him as a WR. He looks almost like a bigger version of Mike Evans. He had a great visit and his family is originally from Texas. He's also Kyle Allen's teammate. I sort of viewed him as a long shot coming in, but learning more about the situation, things are pretty positive for us. While he said he wants to see a few other places, it wouldn't totally shock me to see him commit sometime this week.

indeed. Just look at the size of this dude. Kyle Allen (on right) officially measured 6'3" at the Opening combine and he looks tiny next to Andrews.

just not many people post here. Most of the Ags that do only post on the Rant. Most people prefer to post on A&M-centric boards. This place has just never really caught on. Not sure why.

I cringe when I read Texags but I do read it. I was given a freeview of the premium there (total waste of money from what I've seen so far). The free boards though are mostly full of bs. It's the same everywhere. The groupthink sucks you in and even rational people often buy into it.
- Rivals/247 is biased towards (insert rival)
- The guy committed to us is perfect and massively underrated
- we're in good shape with [every single recruit]
- the mod at X site is such a douche
- the fans of X school are so delusional
- he's only going to X school because they are paying him

I was going to Texags daily last offseason, blackjack 55 was worth it on recruiting info alone. Now it's the rant, but I have to be in the mood to troll.

Speedy in the Aggie offense would be scary. It's either us or y'all. Our offense has to improve drastically but we've been waiting years for that to happen.

I don't think it's as much about improve as it is about change. Speedy is a slot and honestly you guys don't even have a slot on the field 60-70% of plays. It's just hard to get a ton of production when you are watching from the sideline. I don't think that will change this year not because it isn't Cam's thing but it's just not a good use of your personnel.
Speedy is either going to go with his heart and believe y'all will use him like you say, or he will make a business decision and go to A&M imo.

I think you are right about it coming down to the two of us. I think this season's results will be a major factor in his decision. I have to wonder if Johnny's decision (pretty much a foregone conclusion I believe) after this season will also play a part.

It seems like I read he is an Arkansas lean, but we are a close second.
