Closest would have been 1992 when the team was 5th/4th in the AP poll for 9 weeks. Finished 7th after Notre Dame whipped us in the Cotton Bowl. I believe that under the current system, that team would have gotten a playoff berth.

We will win out. Just watch. A&M will be hot going into November. Something we saw in 2010 and 2012. A&M hot in November is a dangerous team. Florida and Mississippi State are garbage. BTHO everyone
