Going pro?
I don't know who will draft him. his best bet would be UDFA at this point

As we confirmed yesterday (but didn't report first) UT WR Marquez North is going pro. He did not return to Knoxville. Plans to hire agent.

Grades? Idk. He didn't even submit the paperwork for a grade

I feel like he must've just completely no showed school or have had MAJOR issues with the staff or a combination of both. Idk any other way to explain it

It can't be the coaches. Surely he could suck it up one more year, give his all, makes some catches and give himself a better chance next year at the draft. I wish him luck but this is stupid on his part. It's got to be grades. That being said, he didn't do much this year so it's not a huge loss from a production standpoint.

It was rumored that he almost gave up football during the year. Doesn't think he can play much longer so he will try to get paid. The injuries have gotten to him mentally, and supposedly he is still having back problems.
Truly a case of what could have been

FL98 insider says it's a similar situation to Tiny Richardson when he left early. Basically, North's back is fricked and he wants to try and make some money while he can

That's a shame. He could've been a great one. I'll always remember the catch he had against South Carolina in 2013

Injuries. No vertical game. Primarily blocking. Not targeted enough. It's best.
vs. 'SC
another fine catch
vs. Georgia
