As top ranked Alabama comes to town, the narrative for the Vols has become about the injuries. Everyone knows the Vols are without Jalen Reeves-Maybin, Cam Sutton and Danny O'Brien. As we noted on Wednesday, Darin Kirkland Jr. has not trended in the right direction this week with his ankle which leads us to believe he more likely not to play. Cortez McDowell has been day-to-day all week. That means Elliott Berry could get the first start of his career on Saturday. And to add to their linebacker depth concerns back up Gavin Bryant has been a bit limited this week. In the secondary there's some concern with Malik Foreman. Foreman injured his shoulder on a tackle in the Texas A&M game.
quote:
On the offensive line all eyes will be on warmups watching both Dylan Weisman and Jashon Robertson. We believe Jashon has a much better chance to go come Saturday. Weisman took a huge shot on a totally selfless play. A play that the offensive line room has watched all week as an example of putting the team first and playing selflessly.
If there's some reason those two can't go or finish the game then it will be Venzell Boulware at left guard. Boulware made the most his opportunities last week and earned praise from the coaching staff for being mentally prepared to play. Boulware wasn't perfect, but he didn't have any major busts. He gained confidence and gave the coaching staff confidence in him.

Tennessee will have Jalen Hurd back who is 100 percent and has done more work on the practice field this week than he has the last 3-4 weeks.

So basically the only linebackers we will have available for Alabama will be Colton Jumper, Elliott Berry, Daniel Bituli, Dillon Bates and possibly Gavin Bryant and Cortez McDowell.

I wonder if TK jr playing the WIL is feasible or a back up option the coaching staff has prepared for

I thought Boulware did a very good job last week, wouldn't feel worried if he has to play.
I'm ready to go to war with Nigel though

If this keeps up I may have to suite up and we all don't want that.

So I'm assuming the OL will be Kendrick/Boulware/Thomas/Jones/Hall
The secondary will be
CB - Moseley
CB - Buchanan? Martin?
NB - Gaulden
S - Kelly
S - Berry? Warrior?
Linebacker starters will be Jumper and El.Berry with Bituli, Bates and maybe Bryant ready. What the frick happened to Kenny Bynum?

Abernathy is going to give it a go.

At this point, is it even worth it?

Is Justin Martin going to get the chance to give up a few touchdowns to Ridley?
