Lol it cracks me up that Butch is all in on this one. I do like our traditional unis, but if this somehow motivates these individuals then I am all for it.

In all seriousness, I have mixed feelings about the greys. I like our orange the best and think we should limit the grey to one game a year at most but I agree that if anything will motivate the team then use it. IDGAF, if someone calls it a gimmick, especially if it can help them get the lead out of their asses and play.
At this point we've worn them enough and done checker Neyland enough to where neither are gimmicks (they've become a uniform option and a tradition).

What choice does he or anyone else have? We have to go all in on this game. If the team won't respond by playing with some fire and at least resemble the team we had last year then those boys are weak minded. At this point I just want to see them play like they fricking mean it.

It is just something else to bitch about. I wish they would trot those out against someone who doesn't matter like Mizzou or something.

I have never cared for the grays. Am I the only one that liked the black jersey? The helmet and pants would need to be changed to make it look good as a set, but I would like to wear black instead of gray. Probably an unpopular opinion.

Ooooookay, you might have watched a few too many Butch press conference videos.
Hopefully they will also boost our competitive character and resiliency.

Smokey Grays pump the players up and Checker Neyland looks cool as hell. I agree that winning is all that matters, but why not have a little fun with it? Florida game got e'erybody on edge.

It's weird but I can't recall going into another UF game feeling like this. This fanbase has seen this team go undefeated in the first three games for the first time in a long time yet we are ill-tempered and on edge and I hope our boys are too -- play all 4 quarters pissed off.
