Cam Akers loves Robbie G, and wants to play for him. He's also very good friends with trey smith and has said in a group text with some of the 2017 recruits and said he was gonna play with trey.
Last thing I'll say on this. No website has intimate info on this situation, but straight from the horses mouth as he took a picture with ty chandler, "we will be the best 1-2 punch in the sec next year" to which Ty replied, "pull the trigger". And he said, "soon dog, soon".
At this point, I would put the likelihood of him being a Vol on signing day at 70%, and we need him. He is a "program changer". Like, instant contenders, like fournette, Henry, Gurley, etc...
