Kameel Jackson ?@Kameeljackson4 5h

Just committed to play football at the University of Tennessee. God is tremendously good. All the time! #Volnation #VFL #WRU

I don't think this is official yet, this is what i've found on him.
Rivals

He got suspended during spring practice at Oklahoma and wanted to transfer to ULM but had to go to a JUCO to get his grades in line. He caught 12 passes for 170 yards in 2 starts for the Sooners as a Freshman and left before his Sophomore season. I'm pumped if this is the guy.

Another big man to watch is Lakewood (Fla.) High School offensive guard Isaiah Wynn. The four-star prospect was selected as the U.S. Army Offensive MVP at the U.S. Army Underclassmen Combine this winter and is being pursued by Tennessee offensive line coach Don Mahoney. Wynn plans on making the trek to Knoxville over the summer and says that getting his official offer from Jones was a differentiating factor in his recruitment in comparison to other schools seeking his services, including Georgia, Auburn, Ole Miss and Florida.

With defensive line being a huge priority in this 2014 class look for the Vols to amp up the recruitment of Ensworth (Tenn.) High School tackle Michael Sawyers. The three-star prospect, as IT subscribers may have read, is scheduled to be on campus over the weekend for an unofficial visit. A 6-foot-2, 295-pounder, Sawyers told IT that he wasn't planning on a making a decision anytime soon, but this weekend could alter his thought process. Sawyers has a lot of friends in Knoxville already and being reunited with All-SEC offensive tackle and former teammate Tiny Richardson could be big in his recruitment.

Sounds like one that'll blow up over the summer. Offer list is growing. FSU and SCar close to offering.

The 6-foot-1, 200-pounder has 10.8 100-meter-dash speed and has been huge of the Vols for awhile, especially since Texans running back and former Tennessee Vol Arian Foster burst onto the scene in Houston. They really produce a lot of great running backs," Harrell told InsideTennessee. "Arian Foster is by far my favorite running back and getting to meet him would be a dream come true for me. Not only that, but to follow in his footsteps would be awesome. To go to a school that he did and follow behind him to the league would be amazing." Harrell has plans to visit Tennessee unofficially over the summer along with several other suitors, including Louisville, Vanderbilt, Michigan State, Kentucky and Clemson.

Could be our 3rd RB, or an OLB (Rivals has him at 210 lbs). Doubt he'll play S considering how we're pressing for McDowell (leader) and Glass.

Fan can expect to see more and more offers going out in the 2015 class as Butch Jones and especially Azzanni believe that recruits highly value their first offer. Tennessee will increasingly try to be the first to the proverbial doorstep to more and more recruits.

Vols Back in Peach State - ESPN

quote:

For a rare time in Tennessee's football history, it could stroll into Georgia and take prospects the Bulldogs wanted. Can it happen again? First-year Tennessee coach Butch Jones is banking on success in the Peach State. "It is critical for a number of reasons, including proximity, caliber of player, and great high school coaching," Jones said. "You are getting an individual with high character and great competitive spirit. If you look at the great Tennessee teams, they typically feature a strong presence of talented players from the state of Georgia." Tennessee is in great position to land more Georgia prospects that the Bulldogs also covet. Many believe McDowell is leaning towards Tennessee and could commit soon.

Mouhon is another strong UT lean.

Needs to dread that imo. Automatic bump to 5 star w/dreads.

Vols seem to be the clear leader for Mike Sawyers out of Ensworth (Tenn.) High School in Nashville. Sawyers was on campus recently and raved about his visit in a text message to InsideTennessee.com. The 6-foot-3, 295-pounder is ranked as a three-star prospect by FOX Sports NEXT and received his offer just before his weekend visit.*Sawyers is also good friends with Tennessee All-SEC offensive tackle Tiny Richardson and was seen around town with the Vols top offensive lineman. Look for Sawyers to be on campus a few more times this summer. Other suitors include Florida State, Georgia Tech, Ole Miss and Vandy. Sawyers finished his junior season with 65 tackles, 25 tackles for loss and seven sacks.

Hubbs on some of our commits being bumped -

I think Paulk will go to 4. I think Coleman Thomas will go to 4. We will see about Creamer. I think Wolf is a possibility. I don't see a major drop with Hurd or Wharton coming.

Rivals camp series top DB's:

quote:

14. DB D'ANDRE PAYNE, WASHINGTON (D.C.) FRIENDSHIP COLLEGIATE Payne is a pure cover corner who will be in the hip pocket of a receiver, regardless of the route. A Tennessee commit, Payne was very strong and physical in press coverage and showed good leaping ability, athleticism and competitiveness at the Richmond RCS. The only thing that could hold Payne back is his height. He is only 5-foot-9, which could be very difficult for Payne to overcome in the SEC.

Hubbs on Paulk, Thomas, and Wolf:

I haven't sat in on any conference call or meetings regarding rankings, but based on conversations, I think it's a real possibility that all three go to 4 stars, but I don't know anything for sure.

Serra 5* CB Adoree' Jackson tells me the only school he's certain he'll visit this summer is Tennessee

Would post links to profile but the cpu i'm on is ridiculously slow. Look the kid up, one of the most athletic players in this class.
